Cat Bi airport, Cat Bi International Airport (IATA: HPH, ICAO: VVCI) is an international airport located in Hai Phong, a crucial economic center in the North of Vietnam. This airport was built during the French colonial time and in 1985, it was re-opened for civil flights.
Now, it hosts domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Pleiku, Nha Trang, Da Lat and Da Nang and also international routes that connects Macau, Seoul and Hai Phong. JetStar Pacific, VietJet Air, Vietnam Airlines and Emirates are some airlines which are exploiting Catbi airport.

Upon your arrival in Catbi Airport, please follow the “Arrivals” signs to the Arrival Immigration Halls on the ground floor for immigration clearance. Here you can get visa on arrival, please hand over to immigration offricer: original passport, visa approval letter, 01 photo size passport, entry / exiti form and visa stamping fee.
After that you do passport clearance and get your checked baggage at baggage claim area, go through customs and security checkpoint to arrival hall.

From Cat Bi airport to city center
The distances from the airport to the center of Haiphong city is only 5km and you have many options to choose from to enter the town. You can either take a taxi with the average cost of VND 50,000 ($2.5) or motorcycle taxi at VND 40,000 ($2).
If you have time to spare, go for a cyclo ride- relax on the wheel and take photos of your first few minutes in the cities. One way trip between the airport and the city center is about VND 30,000 ($1.5).
